Fact: You Need Food To Live

Let me guess, model, you eat up to eight meals a day...

Normally, I'm all for the super-waif smoke/coke addicted model type. What? Generally, they photograph well...but truth be told, this model is ill. Even her belly button is sick.

If Red Could Kill...

Me and Miu

Ok, let me first start by saying that Miuccia Prada is one of my favourite designers. Whether it be for Miu Miu or Prada, nobody does socks with heels like Miuccia.

Her Miu Miu spring/summer 2010 collection shown during Paris Fashion Week, was incredible and by far my favourite of all the spring/summer offerings. I love the pale blue and cat print. It’s all very neat and pretty. Oh and the layering...absolutely divine!

Miuccia said the collection was about "questioning innocence, questioning youth...what do they mean today in a world that's the opposite?"

I don't know the answer to that, but I'm fucking glad she asked, because these clothes are amazing!

This Better Be A Fake, Lady.

This is a crime against Birkins everywhere!

Alice's Offering

Paris department store, Printemps, asked a slew of designers to come up with a bespoke design for leading lady Alice of the film, Alice in Wonderland. Here are a few of my favorite.

McQueen's Final Collection

Alexander McQueen’s final collection was presented yesterday in a private salon in Paris, which was banned from photographers.

McQueen was inspired by the art of the Dark Ages and studied medieval Madonnas, Byzantine art and Old Master paintings, to create this masterpiece consisting of 16 pieces, all visually breathtaking.

If it wasn't obvious before, it is definitely obvious now that we have lost a true artist, visionary, and fashion leader.

Long. Live. McQueen.

Karl's Ice Age

For the Chanel Fall 2010 show, Karl Lagerfeld had the team who sculpted The Ice Hotel in Sweden, to carve a 265-ton iceberg in the Grand Palais in Paris to be used as the runway for his fall 2010 show.

I absolutely adore this collection...especially the fur! From the boots, to the skirts, to the pants, to the bags....and all faux!

Karl said he went with faux fur for two reasons: first, Fendi does the best real furs and he doesn't want to compete, and second: "Technical advances are so perfect you can hardly tell fake fur from the real thing. Fake is not chic. We have got a new Chanel tweed to stop copies but fake fur is."

Loved how my girl, Freja Beha Erichsen, closed the show as the couture bride dangling a totally awesome ice-block purse on a fur-woven Chanel chain.
