Fall Welcomes Chloé
For those extreme girly-girls out there, Chloé is the label for you. You want simplicity? Femininity? It's all here. Creative director, Hannah MacGibbon is god! She gives you everything you want...soft glamour, femininity, sophistication and simplicity.
Chloe’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Ad Campaign is exquisite, and by far my favourite of the season so far. Models, Kasia Struss, Sigrid Agren, and Karlie Kloss effing work those autumn-appropriate Spanish wheat fields.
Look at those goddess curls...yet another fashion trend this season.

Rock Out With Your (insert noun here) Out!
So I dedicate this post to someone very special to me that doesn’t quite get my love for fashion but lets me ramble on and on about everything fashion and my collection of (Jimmy) Choos. So as a thank you, I am posting a Rock and Roll editorial which requires zero understanding and is just fun to look at.
But just so you know...as amusing as this spread may be, it's completely stale. It feels more like children playing dress up slash an adult halloween party than high fashion. Don’t you agree?
Ugh, and don’t get me started on what the late musicians must be thinking up there...may they rest in peace.

Why I Love Lex

Terry Richardson Photography
Despite all negative attractions noted above, this man is quite genial and is famously attractive to women especially the supermodels which he photographs. He has no doubt nailed most if not all the women he has photographed, but all has changed since he met New York 'It Girl' Jen Brill (shown below), an absolute stunner 20 years his junior. They are set to wed any day now.
Terry has lensed campaigns for such clients as Gucci, Miu Miu, Chloe, H&M, Hugo Boss, Anna Molinari, Stussy, Baby Phat, Jigsaw, Levi’s, Eres, Tommy Hilfiger, Club Monaco, Supreme, Costume National, Hysteric Glamour, Matsuda, and Sisley. He has also shot editorial photographs for magazines such as French Vogue, British Vogue, Exit Magazine, Vice, Harper’s Bazaar, Penthouse, The Face, GQ, Sports Illustrated, Purple and i-D, and his impressive list of subjects includes Barack Obama, Daniel Day Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jake Gyllenhaal, Justine Timberlake, Vincent Gallo, Tom Ford, Jay Z, Kanye West, Johnny Knoxville, Karl Lagerfeld, Pharell Williams, Pamela Anderson, Mary-Kate Olsen, Lindsay Lohan and many others.
I honestly love Terry’s work. Although his work is often labelled 'porn' and/or 'kiddie-porn' and the media frequently expresses disapproval to his provocative and confrontational photography, I just see him as a photographer trying to capture the raw essence of his subjects with no boundaries, no secrets and zero pretensions.

Devilishly Delicious
She was photographed by the biggest photographers in the business such as Solve Sundsbo, Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci and Terry Richardson. She was also the creative muse for artists Jeff Koons, John Klechner, Barnaby Barford, Richard Phillips, Chantal Joffe, Billy Sullivan and Marco Brambill.
It’s a MUST read for all fashion and art lovers.
And did you see Dorothy Gale’s revamped ruby slippers?!?!?
I nearly died. They're amazing!

For My Fur Loving Friends
Mario Testino is god. He shot Raquel Zimmermann for the August 2008 issue of Vogue Paris. Just look at these photographs. They are FIERCE!
The 80s glam and glossy red lips scream "I’m a ballbusting, ballcrushing and ballkicking bitch who loves to wear fur. If any of you have a problem with it, you can go fuck yourself."
Right on, girl! Love it!
Something funny...in 1996, PETA activists famously threw a dead raccoon onto the table of Ms. Anna Wintour (below), the fur loving Editor-in-Chief at American Vogue, while she was dining at the Four Seasons in New York. They also left bloody paw prints and the words "Fur Hag" on the steps of her home as well as they threw pieces of beef at her and smeared a tofu pie on her face after a Chloe ready-to-wear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week a few years ago.
...and for the record, Ms. Wintour has yet to elicit any type of reaction to any of the above mentioned events. When she was served the dead racoon at the Four Seasons, she simply covered it with her napkin and ordered a coffee.
So what is the moral of this post, my friends: wear fur, wear it fabulously and fuck everyone else!
